Living History Walk: "Tales Of The Handcart Pioneers"

Hear the powerful stories of the handcart pioneers, brought to life and portrayed by volunteers

Saturday May 16th, 2026

Arrive any time from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Salt Lake City Cemetery (4th Avenue & N Street) - Section F

Once inside the cemetery, proceed to Central Avenue and 310 North.

 

Event Tips:

  • Bring your own water.
  • Wear walking shoes for hills and grass.
  • Use sunscreen; bring an umbrella for shade.
  • Event will proceed in rain or shine, but check here for severe weather updates.


We are dedicated to a respectful environment. Alcohol, smoking, and pets are strictly prohibited. Attendance is voluntary and at the participant's own risk. Event organizers and Salt Lake City Public Lands are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
